I am John Black of the Lanesboro Art Council. We will have use of the 120 seat Historic Saint Mane Theater starting in July 2007. I am contacting groups who have shown interest in performing in Lanesboro.
We have decided to make the theater available for lease. The bare cost for one evening would be $150. This would include opening the door and turning on the lights. Everything else would be up to you.
$200 would include listing on our website, postering of Lanesboro and a press release. Other services such as sound engineering and promotion are available and would be negotiated separately. We do expect to have lights and sound for your use. This will be the first time the Saint Mane will be available during the prime tourist season. There are up to 2000 visitors in Lanesboro at any given time in season. We also draw from the surrounding area including Rochester, Decorah and Winona.
The Saint Mane is right next door to the brand new $3.5 million Commonweal Theatre. Is this something you would be interested in? Any feedback would be appreciated.
